Starting this hike we will walk besides high rock walls, getting directly below a waterfall. You will be able to access a spot where you are really close to the condors’ perchs.

Then we will continue through a forest with views to several spectacular landscapes, going up the Sierra Señoret from where you will be able to see the cordillera Prat, and rest a bit while enjoying the scenery. Then the walk downhill will start by an easy slope inside a ravine, on the side of Sierra Señoret and facing Laguna Sofía. This route can be combined with other alternatives depending on the group’s level and physical condition: different view points that offer more hiking up and down to do.

Enjoy a wonderful trek with mountainous topography, native vegetation and wildlife, and high chances that you will see condors.

BEAR IN MIND

Car drive 1 hour round trip.
The hike takes 3 to 4 hours.
Medium difficulty.
Children under 10 only pay for the transfer plus 50% of the excursion.
Departures from Puerto Natales at 9:00 am. or 3:00 pm.
Return to Puerto Natales at 12:30 or 6:30 pm.
Group size: minimum 2 to maximum 10 people.
Not recommended for children unless they are used to hikes with some exposure to heights.
Cancellation and reprogramming policies are 48 hours in advance.
The excursion can be suspended due to bad weather (extreme rainfall, snow or strong winds).

RECOMMENDATIONS

Wear warm technical clothes (in layers).
First layer, then fleece or softshell, then down or synthetic down jacket and over that, waterproof jacket.
Trekking shoes.
Sunglasses, sunscreen.
Warm hat, cap, buff, gloves.
