This beautiful horseback ride will take you to the heights, where condors live.

We will go around Laguna Sofía’s shore through native lenga tree forests, and then we will slowly ascend until we arrive at the highest spot of Sierra Señoret, at 1,000 m.a.s.l., to find the condor look-out. From here we will have the opportunity to admire this 3-meter wingspand vulture effortlessly soaring, stand and breathe on the edge of the same cliffs where it nests and where the chicks learn to fly.

You will also enjoy the views to a magnificent topography; Laguna Sofía from above, the Última Esperanza fjord and the snowy peaks of Cordillera Prat.

The excursion can be suspended due to bad weather (extreme rainfall, snow or strong winds).

RECOMMENDATIONS

Wear warm technical clothes (in layers).
First layer, then fleece or softshell, then down or synthetic down jacket and over that, waterproof jacket.
Sunglasses, sunscreen.
Warm hat, cap, buff, gloves.
Riding boots or trekking shoes.
It is not recommended to wear plastic ponchos, log scarves, or selfie sticks. The horses might get scared by flapping noises.
