Horseback Riding at Cerro Dorotea

This beautiful horseback ride on Cerro Dorotea, starts at the feet of this hill that separates Chile and Argentina, to reach a high look-out from where the views are privileged: you can see Puerto Natales from above, the Última Esperanza fjord, plus the snowed Patagonian Andes with glaciers on them.

During the three hours that you will be riding on horseback, you will slowly ascend on the slope towards the summit of cerro Dorotea, guided by a baqueano, a local ranch person or cowboy (also gaucho).

You will spend an amazing time, surrounded by native forests, vegetation and wildlife, and beautiful mountains. This horseback ride is done taking the time to look around, on gentle horses, and is even suitable for people with no previous experience. Small children can ride with an adult and children from 6 years old can ride on their own.
